Board Elections

Want to be part of the Computer Science Club board?

The TRU Computer Science Club board is a group of 10 members that run the club's day-to-day operations, organize events, manage the support lab, and work with the TRU faculty.

Elections take place yearly in early October. A board position runs for one year, with meetings that take place either biweekly or weekly. Different positions are available on the board, one of which is the Student Representative who will sit in faculty meetings and represent the Computing Science student body as a whole.

How to nominate yourself for the board:

  1. Go to Moodle
  2. Sign into your TRU Moodle account
  3. Click on "All courses"
  4. Search "CSC"
  5. Select "Computer Science Club"
  6. If you are not already a member of the group, use the password "election"
  7. Click the "General Discussion" form
  8. Click the latest nomination form
  9. Write your name, a brief bio, and a small picture
  10. Submit your nomination!

How to vote for the board members:

  1. Go to Moodle
  2. Sign into your TRU Moodle account
  3. Click on "All courses"
  4. Search "CSC"
  5. Select "Computer Science Club"
  6. If you are not already a member of the group, use the password "election"
  7. Click the latest election quiz
  8. Vote for up to 10 preferred board members
